During Prohibition, it seems likely dat lots of ryeder-bills were sneaked into da House and Senate with da hope of their being unwittingly approved without being noticed too much.

A wildlife agent who has no backbone do actually get out there and do his job.

Considering that many sportsmen are armed to the teeth and often take ample quantities of alcohol on their game-seeking sojourns, I cannot really blame someone for being a cowarden when it comes to enforcing a state's hunting laws.

Just because someone has "seenyoreity" over you doesn't necessarily mean dat he's a wiser or more-learned individual than you are --- many people have just cluelessly "drifted through da decades" without actually picking up or "absorbing" much of what they've been exposed to along da way.

To gradually prepare yourself for the warmer sunnier months, such as gently "breaking in" your complexion for tanning without peeling.

Initially I wear my white sunhat all the time whenever I go outdoors in late Spring so that my "chrome dome" doesn't get sunburned, but then as the days get even warmer, I alternately take off the hat and then put it back on a few minutes later, in an effort to summerize my scalp; eventually when I get a fairly even tan "up there", I can leave my hat off for hours at a time without excessive reddening.
