opposite-sidewalks stroll

Refers to where you and an acquaintance go for a jaunt along a street or nature-trail, but you each walk "separately" on either side of the lane instead of just traipsing along side-by-side in the usual way. This less-common practice could be for any of a variety of reasons, such as that the area's sidewalks are simply too narrow for two people to safely walk double-file, or that you and your companion are cleaning up trash along both sides of the road, or perhaps you're helping each other to look for one or more scattered items that got accidentally dropped sometime earlier.
Another good purpose for an opposite-sidewalks stroll would be if your walking-companion owes you some money that he presently has no way of paying back, and so you and he are collecting discarded returnable containers along the local roadways to earn a little additional cash towards the amount that he owes you. Extra points if your buddy willingly carries all the bags as they get filled with returnables, so that you yourself don't have to expend so much effort on his behalf; a six-cubic-foot-capacity plastic-tubbed wheelbarrow is a handy accessory here, to help ease this "weighty" burden.

harassment by unwelcome advertisement

The legal name for the "moderate misdemeanor"-level crime of causing someone to be deluged with junk mail. Often performed by a disgruntled acquaintance of said individual as a way of getting even with the person for a perceived wrongdoing, and usually accomplished by "anonymously" contacting multitudes of businesses/organizations by phone/fax/email and/or responding to paper/internet junk-mail ads that you yourself receive by filling out the advertisers' response-forms in your victim's name, so that he will soon begin receiving tons of useless crap in his mailbox and/or e-mail account, receiving innumerable telemarketing/sales-calls, getting loads of junk-faxes (which of course will create the added headache/expense of his having to buy more paper and ink for his machine from its dutifully printing out all those useless ads!), having salespeople knocking at his door at all hours, etc.
Another sometimes-effective/successful use for harassment by unwelcome advertisement is to pressure the "targeted" person to do something you want (think, the hilariously-infamous "Taliban Hotline" animated cartoon); extra points if you also choose the types of advertisers --- and your method of sending the ad-responses --- strategically, so as to inflict maximum discomfort/humiliation on your victim, such as requesting info/offers from controversial and/or "spicy" organizations like the KKK or "adult" product/literature producers, and sending some of the requests via post card instead of discretely-concealing envelopes, so that every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the postal system is made shockingly aware that this person is apparently interested in these questionable/controversial services.

courtesy-sidestep

Refers to where you hastily "make like a crab" when ambling along the road or down a long aisle/hallway and observe someone warily approaching with an extra-wide/bulky "item in tow", such as if a person is wheezingly lugging one or more large humongously-bulging sacks/bundles in his arms, or if a vehicle is pulling an extra-wide trailer; the "courtesy" notation implies that you intentionally move aside considerably farther than is actually necessary for safely allowing the person to get by you; your purpose is to ensure that the trepidatious cargo-transporter can feel totally confident and non-apprehensive about passing by your position.
I always make sure to perform the courtesy-sidestep whenever I see someone approaching who needs extra room to pass, especially if there is a wall, line of parked vehicles, or other currently-immovable object at the side of the road that the person is having to actively avoid. And I also find that I can acceptably do so even if there are other folks present beside the road, as well... even if several people are also standing next to the wall --- like a bunch of huge burly D.O.T. guys at a road-repair-construction site --- I have never been griped at for just unceremoniously squinching myself right up against/among them till the extra-bulky vehicle has passed; I guess it's kinda understood that personal space/boundaries get temporarily "collapsed" or "suspended" when safety is at stake.

econdomy-grade

Denotes a lower-than-"deluxe" level of intimacy, in that the gal always insists that the guy wear a condom whenever he "does it" with her.
A guy should realize that a gal's insisting on just econdomy-grade intercourse is definitely not a sign that the gal doesn't love him very much --- she's simply taking a precaution against either get pregnant or contracting STDs.

belchelor

A single dude who has been unable to secure a spouse due to his loud/frequent burping.
Many belchelors may actually have quite uproarious social lives with lots of other males with crude tastes and little sensitivity about gross/disgusting noises, but few humans of the female persuasion would want to be around said voluminous burpers, since no truly genteel/dignified/self-respecting lady would be willing to "stoop that low".

sideways-snuggle

A.k.a. "sideways-hug" or "right-angle cuddle". It involves first standing next to the person whom you wish to canoodle with and using just one arm and hand to gently draw him over to you so that his chest is nestled against your side, afterwhich you affectionately tilt your head over against his and soothingly knead his back and shoulder-blades with your hand.
The sideways-snuggle can also loosely refer to a pleasurable position that you assume while canoodling with someone in bed; it's basically "half-spooning" the person, whereby you are turned on your side and nestling up against your lover, but he is either face-down or lying on his back, and so you are snuggling up to his side and have one arm (and often one leg, as well) affectionately draped over him. This "partial embrace" position is often employed during semi-hot weather, where the person still wants to cuddle wif you but would be too warm if he was totally spooning with you or fully nestling against you chest-to-chest.

Dentist the Menace

How young children --- and many adults, as well --- view anyone in that line of work. And of course, they are often 100% correct in that un-trusting assessment, unfortunately.
My teeth feel just fine, and so I don't want to "have a routine tooth-exam" for fear that it might actually do more harm than good (i.e., I might GET cavities from all da harsh cleaning and picking around)... too many "Dentist the Menaces" around who just have dollar-signs in their eyes.
