conflict of interest
An unfair-to-the-customer motivation that money-hungry banks have to maintain someone's having to make payments on a loan for as long as possible.
I borrowed a thousand dollars from a local credit-union so that I could pay some local tradespeople to perform much-needed repairs on my home and vehicle. But then as it turned out, these "over-booked with repair-jobs" folks were not able to get to my repairs as soon as they'd expected, and so I didn't need the loaned money nearly so soon as I'd thought I would; I realized that I'd likely be able to pay the carpenters and mechanics "on my own" just with extra-frugality-saved funds over the next few months. So I merely returned the thousand dollars to the credit union within just two or three months after I'd taken out the loan; the clerk seemed none to pleased, since they'd only made about 22 bucks extra in the deal, instead of maybe close to a hundred if I'd taken a year to pay it all back, the way they had expected me to. Guess there was a little conflict of interest there.

Robodex
The Ferris-wheel-type paper-holding device where cyborg-Officer Alex Murphy keeps his colleagues' business cards.
Officer Murphy is all for networking as much as anyone, but he regularly has to "weed" his Robodex of cards that he no longer wants in there, since many of his accumulated contacts turn out to be scum-bangs... lots of Dick Joneses out there who purport to be honorable caring dedicated members of the public or local government, but are actually just trying to line their own pockets, puff their cronies' political standing, alter election-votes, etc.
laffidavit
1. A statement of fact penned by a clown.
2. A statement of fact that is so absurd or sloppily-worded that you would get guffawed out of court if you presented it as evidence.

Norm Snively tried to present his ownership papers in court as evidence of his legal right to Air Bud, but thanks to Snively's spectacular dunking in the lake, said documents were nothing but tiny blobs of wet paper in a plastic bag, causing the judge to rule the inadmissible paper-mâché mess to be nothing but a laffidavit.

libyaral
It might have been wise for Doc Brown to be a trifle less libyaral in his efforts to obtain plutonium for his DeLorean time machine; besides, he was able to invent/obtain a garbage-recycling fusion-machine within a few years, anyway, asd so using this potentially-very-dangerous-in-multiple-ways (i.e., it is a super-hazardous material in and of itself, and getting access to some is a highly-risky business, as well, since the type of folks who would deal in such lethally-toxic materials would themselves likely be trigger-happy towards anyone who crossed them) substance would have been unnecessary within a short time, anyway.
Lukerative
Not too many people watch the vintage "Star Wars" or "Dukes of Hazzard" films anymore, but there is still quite a Lukerative trade in DVDs and memorabilia among die-hard fans and members of the newer generations who love "oldies but goodies".

wow and flutter
Refers to da "verbally-gushing 'n' eyelash-battingly-impressed" reaction of cute chicks when you show them how well your magnetic-tape-based recording/playback equipment works at producing great stable-speed sound.
Since most high-end audio-systems have gone digital nowadays, you may have to find other ways to make da ladies wow and flutter over your recording-studio equipment's awesome sound-capabilities.
