Nonsense word made up by some Scrabble players in a vain attempt to use the high-scoring letter "Q".
Hey Rose, is there such a word as "quare"? I want to try to make a word from my "AREUQ".

The time of the day when TV is at its least interesting: usually anywhere from 12 midnight to about 8 AM on any given day, when the programming you're most likely to see is dull economic news, domestic political fare, and, worst of all, infomercials. REM=rapid eye movement, a stage of the dreaming process.
One thing I hate about being a security guard is having to come home to the REM slot when I want to watch TV!

Javanese

Humorously, any excessively florid writing style. From the actual Javanese script, all but no longer used in Java, Indonesia, which had a very artistic flair in its heyday (now a modified Roman alphabet is used for Javanese).
There's no need to use that Javanese in your letter to get your point across. Just write as you normally would.

The diagonally-checkered rainbow flags of the Incas and their descendents, the Quechua people. Recently used as symbols of ethnic pride by these people, wifalas have now fallen somewhat out of favor because of outsiders confusing ihe flags with the rainbow flags of the gay community. Also spelled "wipfalas". The singular form is "wifala" or "wipfala". Pronounced "WEE-fah-lah(ss)".

A fan of the TV series, both old and new, Battlestar Galactica.
