Euphemism for "(he) doesn't know his a** from his elbow". He doesn't know anything (or doesn't want to know anything).

You can't ask that bus driver about bus route numbers. He doesn't know his brass from his oboe.

cabbage patch 

The part of a hospital or mental institution reserved for patients in a vegetative state. Also called "vegetable garden".

The gunshot victim had irreversible brain damage, so he was taken to the cabbage patch.

corflu 

CORrection FLUid, the milky white fluid that you brush over a writing, typing, or printing error. An example of one type of corflu is Wite Out.

It seems Johnny isn't feeling too well today. He's making a lot of mistakes in that fanzine and using corflu like mad! Corflu is a SF conventiongoers' term.
