M-Theory 

The most advanced version of the cosmic string theory. M-theory exists in eleven-dimentional hyperspace, where two-branes and five-branes can exist. There are five ways in which M-Theory can be reduced down to ten dimensions, thereby giving us the five known superstring theories, which are now revealed to be the same theory.

The full equations governing M-theory are totally unknown.

Multiverse 

The hypothesis in which our universe turns out to be one among an enormous number of seperate and distinct universes that have evolved down though the aeons. Most universes are dead and uninteresting. Only a tiny subset do the laws of physics promote the emergence of stars, planets and life.

There is nothing special about the status of our universe within the infinity of universes that constitute the multiverse.

Red Shift 

The reddening or decrease in frequency of light from distant galaxies due to the Doppler effect, indicating that they are moving away from us. The red shift can also take place via expansion of empty space, as in the expanding universe. The opposite of blue shift.

Most galaxies are red shifted, this tells us that our universe is expanding.

Wimp 

Has many meanings as follows:

1. Wimp. A physical or emotional weakling; someone who lacks courage. It is meant as a mild insult.

2. WIMP is acronym for 'Weakly Interacting Massive Particle'. WIMPs are conjectured to make up most of the dark matter in the universe.

3. In computing stands for 'Window, Icon, Menu, Pointer' paradigm.

4. As a term coined by Rush Limbaugh Wimp means 'Women-Influenced Male Person.'

1. Tim was often called a wimp by the other boys in class because he was smaller than they were.

2. One leading candidate for the WIMPs are the sparticles predicted by string theory.

3. WIMP interaction was developed at Xerox and popularized by Macintosh.

4. Rush Limbaugh comes up with all kinds of crazy slang, such as Mega Dittoes and WIMP.

A user of LSD. Based on the term 'pot head', but for LSD instead of pot.

Paul was an acid head and enjoyed tripping on LSD.

2. A user of marijuana.
