That Prius' plate said "370H55V". I turned it over and then I knew what it really meant.

sucker pole 

Where an enterprising bike thief has removed bolts securing a pole to the bottom, but kept the pole for the cyclist to lock up to...like a sucker.

Always make sure you're not locking to a sucker pole!
