Forsaken

To forsake is to "renounce" or turn away from entirely. Like desert and abandon, forsake conveys the notion that there is no intention of returning.

Think of the dying Jesus on the cross as he cries out in anguish, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

Short for papers.

1. Cigarette papers used to roll up marijuana joints
2. A term used to describe money. Paper forms like dollar bills.

1. Hey, can you grab me some papes at 7-11.

2. You know I gotta get my ass to work ... make them papes, ya know!

A one-hundred dollor bill. C stands for "centum" the Latin word for 100. The word "note" actually come from the bill it's self. Which reads, "This note is leagal tender for all debts, public and private."
