drag strip

A straight bit of pavement used for Drag Racing. The actual race distance is one quarter mile from starting line to finish line, then sometimes over a half a mile after the fininsh line (called the stopping area). These strips can be found as the home to Top Fuel Dragsters and Top Fuel Funny Cars with over six thousand horsepower

The U.S. Nationals can be found at the Drag Strip at Indinapolis Raceway Park.

quality control

The process of eliminating definitions that don't actually define a word, define names, or are posts that belong in a forum instead of urbandictionary. Only intelligent people should take part in quality control.

Many people try do delete good definitions, but quality control keeps them.

To have sex with someone you are not currently dating or are in a commitment type of relationship with. This may occur when going on a date or on any random occasion.

horror punk

Another term for fiendcore and monster rock; a subgenre of punk with bands and songs defined by classic horror movies, murder, and other gruesome or grotesque themes of a horrific nature.

The only horror punk CD's the record store had were of Balzac and Misfits.
