cheese

Slang Term To mean "Money".

Orgin: Everywhere - as old as welfare started.

where in wellfare. people get free Money and Govt. Cheese. Real cheese handed out for food for people in the poverty line.

Cheese comes from the term "Government Cheese" but in slang its refer to the "MONEY". cuz thats what you both get at the welfare line. but it is used to mean "Money" for anything.

this is an old slang. alot of old movies uses it.

"I lost my job. I need to find somewhere new to get my cheese".

Shaka

Hawaiian Slang for a hand gesture.

Orgin: 60's Hawaii

its a hand gesture and its called shaka. and it means your cool!

make a fist and stick your pinky out and your thumb, twist your wrist back and forth. a hand gesture to tell another person he or she is cool for doing something.

derived from an asian word.

Orgin:Soldier Slang 1940's

to be gungho. meaning to be so psyched out for war. a mentality,thinking you are bullet-proof. your so hyped up and pumped so much. you can't wait to rush in and attack with your fellow soldiers.

"Man.. I was so gungho I ran home telling my mom that I was going to war in Nam like it was a vacation".

derived from 5-0 which means the patrol car. Fiver refers to the person inside the patrol car. who is the police officer.
