A peaceful (but strong) artificial human from the dragonball universe. He hates violence despite being strong. He was created by Dr. Flappe, a former Red Ribbon Army Scientist. He, like all the androids from dragonball has an explosive implanted in himself for emergencies, and to encourage obedience.

Mercenary Tao

Mercenary Tao is an assassin-for-hire in the dragonball universe. He is almost killed by Goku after receiving his training atop Korin Tower, but is revived as a cyborg, and is able to due so with all the money he received from his job. He is the Crane Hermit (Shen)'s younger brother, and the two of them have a fierce rivalry which drove them apart.
Mercenary Tao: Pleased to kill you.

A scientist that works for the Red Ribbon Army. He created Android 16 for the sole purpose of destroying Goku, Android 17 and Android 18 for making Cell perfect, and Android 20 (himself) to make himself immortal. He also creates android 19 to serve him, as he is easier to control than the others. He also created Hell Fighter 17, and subsequently Super Android 17. He is ultimately killed by his creations after threatening to use the emergency suspension controller on 17 and 18. His ultimate achievement is Cell, and it was implied that his original reason for being created was to destroy the entire universe, which he could have done if things had not played out the way the did in the series. He could simply blow himself up every time someone stronger than him appears.

While in his android form, he refers to himself in the third person as to conceal his true identity. Is name is pronounced "Doctor Jero".
Dr. Gero: I cleared the area of innocents, in accordance with your wishes. Do you disagree with my methods?

A shape-shifting cat in the dragonball universe, and best friend of Yamcha. He went to shape-shifting school with Oolong, and can hold his form for more than 5 minutes (unlike Oolong). Puar is the second character associated with the Z fighters that is able to fly. Oolong can fly as well, but it requires him to transform into something with wings.
Puar: Only a heartless soul would run and leave his friends behind. We're in this together.

Android 16

One of Dr. Gero's androids. He was created for the sole purpose of eliminating Goku, to take revenge for destroying the Red Ribbon Army when he was a child. Android 16 doesn't respond to commands unrelated to Goku (at first), and will not take orders from anyone. Unlike the other androids, he is purely machine based, and is stronger than the other two androids. He has a powerful nuclear bomb capable of destroying even Cell in his perfect form, however he doesn't get a chance to use it because he had it taken out while Bulma and her father were repairing him.

Android 16 decides to not go along with his mission to destroy Goku, after realizing Dr. Gero was evil. He decides instead to help the other Z fighters destroy cell. He plays a critical role in the Cell saga, after he is blown to smithereens with only his head in tact, he convinces Mr. Satan (Hercle) to throw his head over by where Gohan and Cell are fighting, and convinces Gohan to unleash his hidden powers, by explaining that violence is OK is long is it is used to protect that which you hold most dear. He dies shortly after when Cell crushes his head, pushing Gohan over the edge, transforming into a Super Saiyan 2.
Android 16: You two made too much noise. You scared the birds away.

A righteous, dead fighter and Goku's opponent in the final round of the Other World Tournament. He belongs to the West quadrant of the universe and is therefor rooted for by West Kai.

He takes down Frieza and King Cold each with one hit and surprised Super Perfect Cell with one as well. In addition to his great strength, and most notably his speed, he has powerful techniques, including "Burning Shoot" (from the PSP game Shin Budokai) that is similar to Goku's Kaioken, in that it provides a brief but incredible boost to energy, speed, and strength.
Pikkon has large rectangular ears, similar to those of Semi-Perfect/Perfect Cell, Pui Pui, and Frieza.

Mr. Satan

The world martial arts champion from Dragonball, he becomes the champion easily to due none of the z fighters entering the tournament at the time. Android 18 let's him win the final battle in exchange for the prize money and another 10 million zeni.
In the fight between Vegito and Super Buu, Mr. Satan is able to see the fighters while they move and fight, while unable to sense energy, however Gohan, during the Saibaman struggle, could not see the fights until he concentrated on their energy, and not using his eyes. This is another plothole of the series.

Almost every time Mr. Satan has to come to the ring in the World Martial Arts Tournament, he usually ends up hurting himself, then he is forced to lie to the crowd saying that he was kidding around in order to keep his reputation.
