Opinions based on political, economic or personal gain rather than scientific expertise, wisdom or any proven body of knowledge; someone who will bloviate to the point of embarrassment, particularly someone with no scientific background. Scientific opinions created to profit or hurt others; mean spirited.

She wanted to defend Trump Science when addressing global warming, but the facts out weighed her argument.
