Dojo Tan

A martial artist without any tan at all, very pale. Unlike many people who workout in gyms or health clubs, who are usually tan. Someone who is spending all there time in the dojo training and not going out in the sun. Usually a serious martial artist.

Bob's pretty serious about getting his blackbelt, he's got a dojo tan.

Coffin

A regular automobile such as a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry. The name refers not to the safety of the car but to the fact that the people driving them don't really live. They are already dead.

My mom wanted to buy a coffin but my dad would let her.

Elvis in the bathroom

To die in the bathroom, usually the result of a life of long term excess.

Another supermodel did an Elvis in the bathroom.

Crazy Bob did too many ludes, lucky I walked in on him or he would have done an Elvis in the bathroom.

One of the masses or regular people. Worker.

My mom told me to quit going out with that proletariat girl.

slushing

Since the 1970s, this was driving a car with wide tires in the centerlane after a snow storm. The centerlane was usually not plowed. This resulted in slush being sprayed into the oncoming traffic.

We went slushing in the delta last night.

I tried going slushing in a honda but the tires weren't wide enough to do any good.

A nickname used by the youth of Whiting, IN for the wild celebrations of Independence Day. It's similar toBurningMan's tribal and primitive feel. Northwest Indiana's fourth of July celebrations were documented in the movie The Fourth of July and Other Disasters.

Yeah, let's go to ExplodingMan.

I went to ExplodingMan last year but I got to work this year.

Imam

A prophet or mentor to young males. Typically a male a few years older than the youth he mentors. Usually, he has his own place, a "real job" and a live-in girlfreind.

Kids today have MTV to show them how to be men, all we had was Imam and Buddy.
