(Originally referred to the American film-rating system, in which "G" stands for "general admission".)

1. Appropriate for all ages, with no offensive content such as violence, drug use, profanity, or sex acts.

2. Sanitized or altered to remove offensive content.

Huggy Buddies

Close platonic friends who enjoy hugging each other as a pleasure in itself, not as a form of foreplay. (See cuddle buddies.)
Roland and I aren't going steady; we've always been nothing but huggy buddies.

group hug 

A hug shared by three or more good friends, as an expression of unity and mutual affection.
I was pleasantly surprised when my best friend and his children gave me a group hug.

Huggable 

Pleasurable to hug; evoking a desire to hug.
I don't care so much about sexiness, as long as a guy looks huggable.

The teddy bear was still huggable, despite a missing ear and several patches.

huggaholic 

A person who seems unable to live without hugs; a person obsessed with hugging.
Chrissy sounds like a real huggaholic, the way she kept clinging to you at the party!
A person who enjoys hugging, and who hugs as often as possible.
My mom was never a hugger; no wonder I felt cold and lonely as a kid!
