To say that people only watched the movie because it was associated with DC is to ignore the fact that DC doesn't have a good track record in terms of movies and outside of the Dark Knight trilogy; nobody liked those movies.
Hym "Outside of the Christopher Nolan movies DC doesn't have a good track record. Even with the popularity of the Avengers movie Superhero films are still a niche demographic and there are still people who are averse to superhero movies and DIDN'T watch it for that reason. I loved the Man of Steel and anyone who has been reading long enough knows that Zack Snyder 'shared my vision' and I'll defend it to the grave but no one else really liked it. Nobody liked the Tim Burton Batman really. What would you say is the best DC film outside of the Dark Knight trilogy? Is it the one I wrote? Well? I would have said Man of Steel but I'm a solid 3rd place."
Attention
Is everyone paying attention?

Because I am that and in being that I meet the criteria for creative achievement IN YOUR OWN WORDS. And I don't mean narcissistic in the modern sense (because now it's used as more of a buzz term for "people who don't behave in congruence with my worldview"). I mean it's an actual observable behavior. So observable that even someone half way across the globe can see it."
Injustice
Right. It's not the whore fucking the retard while everyone on the planet literally helps her get away with it. It's me talking about how the whore looked like she was fucking the retard, the retard insinuated he was fucking the whore, the management alluded to the fact that she was fucking the whore, the schizophrenic claimed that the whore was fucking the retard, and my parents alluding to the fact that they are also aware that the whore was fucking a retard. That's the injustice. That's REAL injustice.

No seriously. What do you think the writing team of some of these shows makes per season? And how does me writing the things that are on the show not constitute "me being on the team?"
Store
With what money am I going to go to the store with? Great idea. I'll just walk to the store (because I don't have a car anymore), say hi and tell my name to a motherfucker who likely already knows who I am, leave without buying anything, walk back to my house, have a little Hym Iam marathon where I watch all of the shows that are using lines directly from me on my phone as it slowly dies, then (when my external runs out of juice) I'll go downstairs and steal some electricity so I'm not sitting in a powerless studio apartment.
Hym "How much do you think someone on the writing staff of some of these shows makes? DOESN'T MATTER. They deserve it more than I do so there's no reason to acknowledge that they're doing it. And it isn't the acknowledgement I'm afraid of it's YOUR WILLINGNESS TO PARTICIPATE that is startling. And to sit here and watch you try to frame it as though there is anything you can do other than refuse to acknowledge the fact that you are participating in what amounts to imposed schizophrenia. And my mother knows exactly what she needs to do and instead of doing it she's (likely) listening to a fucking charlatan. Which is exactly how I got myself into this mess. I learn from my mistakes but it doesn't look like other people are capable of learning from my mistakes. Pfft go to the fucking store? Yeah, alright. When I get some money that'll be the first thing I do."
