I just bought it and it looks great. The score is amazing and Gustauve still looks like a swarthy Robert Pattinson. The French aesthetic was a good choice. The story revolves around the macabre countdown perpetrated by this supernatural entity called "The Paintress" where every year she reduces the number painted (in light) on this giant tree across the sea by 1 and every of the corresponding age vanishes into a cloud of flowers.

Stop killing kids
Says Candy O but if her religion is true then he ISN'T killing kids. The good ones are going to heaven and the bad ones are going to hell.
Hym "Therefore, killing kids only has moral significance if her religion is false. And IF NOT, and the religion is TRUE... He can't stop killing kids. Because he isn't. They are immortal. They have immortal souls. Nothing in the Bible about threatening kids and there is A LOT in the Bible about murdering them. God regularly tells people to do it and/or sends bears to murder them himself. Tells Isaac to murder his son. Tells Jebthah to murder his daughter. Tells Saul to kill all of the men, women, children, and animals and then when Saul FAILS and has David do it. And it would be weird for Sodom and Gomorrah to be completely devoid of children or the entire world to be devoid of children before the flood... So... Yeah, no, but it DOES say something about not being allowed to steal."
