Highway Revolt

A protest against any kind of road improvement project. Usually organized by retired or rich homeowners with nothing productive to do. This type of protester wants traffic to be congested because it's their way of having control over the public.

Traffic is always congested in that part of town because homeowners organized a highway revolt to stop road improvements like adding lanes or building improved interchanges.

A tattoo sleeve made up of small black linework (just the outline, no shading) tattoos randomly scattered across someone's arm. Often looked down upon by traditional tattoo artists and enthusiasts, sticker sleeves are somewhat popular among younger millennials and Gen Z, especially for women.

McDegree

A college degree that isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Most McDegree holders will be working in jobs that don't even require a degree, making it pointless.

I can't find a job with my McDegree. The closest thing I had to a job was a paid internship - I had to pay them for it!

Alcohol that is consumed to treat a "medical condition" such as anxiety, difficulty sleeping, shyness, or restlessness.

I couldn't fall asleep last night so I had some medical alcohol - a few shots of vodka did the trick!
