"Nailed it" is an informal idiom used to express that a task was executed perfectly or exceptionally well, similar to saying "You did a great job" or "Perfect!". The phrase comes from the idea of hitting a nail perfectly on the head to drive it straight into a surface without bending it, symbolizing precise and successful completion.

The anchoring effect is a psychological phenomenon in which an individual's judgments or decisions are influenced by a reference point or "anchor" which can be completely irrelevant, e.g. the status symbol gained by owning an iPhone on your hand.
