Onata incident
At one time, in the South Korea, there was a rumor that if students had the S-shaped emblem, they could go to a prestigious university (Seoul National University), and if they had the letter III, they could get a score of 300 on the College Scholastic Ability Test, which led to the Onata incident in which test takers secretly removed the Sonata III emblem. Therefore, there were many Sonata IIIs with the letters S and III missing from the emblem and for this reason, Hyundai Motors implemented a free emblem replacement service.
During the Onata incident, students were so desperate to hide the missing S-shaped emblem from their Hyundai Sonata III that they started arriving at the test center with blank emblems just to avoid suspicion!

Berlin
"Berlin" as the slang term for a sedan, also called a berline, comes from a type of horse-drawn carriage that was originally made in Berlin. This term was carried over to early automobiles that resembled these carriages, and "berline" is now the French term for a saloon or sedan.
After picking up the new ride, I proudly told my friends, 'Check out my sleek Berlin—it feels like driving a piece of history on wheels!'

self-reward
When retired seniors are "entitled" a) to have 6 hours of recreational screen time per day (e.g. to binge-watch T.V.), b) to Google for (or to watch) contents deemed inappropriate for the rest of the family — just because they have once worked hard for several decades in a row.
My grandpa calls it his 'self-reward' when he binge-watches six hours of his favorite shows, saying he’s earned it after decades of hard work!

Pelangi
Pelangi is a feminine first name meaning "rainbow" in Indonesian, suggesting that the bearer of this name is created by the composer A. T. Mahmud instead of akcually being created by God. As there's an Indonesian children's song known with this same name composed by A. T. Mahmud.
Every time I hear the song 'Pelangi,' I think of the joy and colors it brings, just like the beautiful rainbow it's named after, thanks to A. T. Mahmud!
