A backronym is an acronym constructed retrospectively to fit a word. The term was probably first used by Alan Chapman a business consultant based in Leicester England.
When used as an acronym good is actually a backronym.

Tenderfoot

American slang dating back to the time of the old west. It was used by people who were established in frontier towns to describe someone new, either to the area or the prevailing conditions; someone lacking experience and who was perhaps a little naive. Mildly disparaging but without any real malice it is still used occasionally to describe someone who is just starting out on their chosen career.
Despite having been to university, you’re still a tenderfoot when you start in the workplace.

TF-BUNDY

This was originally an acronym used by medical staff standing for Totally Fucked But Unfortunately Not Dead Yet. It can be used to describe a number of different types of patient:
1. Those patients who have a long-term medical condition which requires the expenditure of a great deal of time, effort and resources.
2. Those patients who are quite literally dying or in a Persistent Vegetative State or PSV.
3. Those patients who, although they may have a serious medical condition, are a total pain in the ass
Believed to have started in America, the use of this acronym has become widespread.

AOB

British acronym standing for Arrogant Obnoxious Bastard. Associated with the term Any Other Business, it refers to the people who tend to raise things when this item is reached on the agenda. They are usually in love with the sound of their own voice, won't take direction from the Chair and have a total disregard for the commitments of the other people at the meeting. Their pet subject is usually minor and could be put on the agenda of the next meeting, yet despite its unimportance they continue to drone on about it at interminable length leaving the other members of the meeting contemplating the validity of justifiable homicide.
"Malcolm's droning on about de-humidifiers again."
"That AOB! If he lost half his body mass his fat ass wouldn't sweat so much!"
