A small 1982 independent film starring marianne sagebrecht and Jack parlance. The film was shot in newberry springs ca at what was then called the "sidewinder cafe". After the movie became an "arthouse darling"the proprietors changed the.name of the cafe to "bagdad cafe" to reflect the movies popularity.

The equivalent of the chinese Mafia. The triads have been active in china since the 18th century.today their tentacles extend throughout the world. Similar to la cosa. Nostra the triads are into drug and human trafficking. Extortion. And restaurant supply.as well as casinos and hospitality

Little brown wren
Literally just that. A little brown wren is a cute little bird who is a bit shy like most birds.
If one comes in your house it's a safe bet that it's mate. Is nearby. Little brown wrens. Like to eat birdseed berries and bugs. They will light on anything where they can perch. When it gets dark they will roost until it's daylight. They love indoor plants and picture frames as well.

Odorama scratch and sniff cards
These are large scratch and sniff cards that were given out for free at screenings. Of John waters 1981 film "polyester". The idea is simple: the card has about 20-25 numbered icons each corresponding with a smell in the movie. When the number is flashed on the screen you simply scratch the corresponding icon. Odors included soiled tennis shoes.vomit.dog poo stinky farts........ you get the idea!
