Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir Lau-Vay Lin Yons-doe-tear (born April 23, 1999), known by the mononym Laufey Lau-Vay, Lay-Vay, Law-Fey is an Icelandic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who became popular in the early 2020s. She describes her musical style, a mixture of jazz pop and bedroom pop, as modern jazz.

Shes such an amazing person that has inspired many many people like myself that I thought she deserved her own day. Laufey has inspired me so greatly and personally i relate to all of her songs deeply, she motivates me to get out of my bed everyday and makes me just want to dance all day to her songs.
