Yapster
A person, usually in their early to mid 30s, who is too old to fully embrace the lifestyle of a modern age Hipster (e.g. due to professional reasons, family life).
While holding on to some hipster-esque items, features or behaviors, the Yapster at the same time extensively talks about hipsterism in an ostensibly pejorative way, usually to other Yapster friends.

yipster
An individual who holds both the characterisitcs of a yuppie and a hipster. They are usually successful in business and feel special or unique for liking the underground indie culture.
For the yipster, the term 9 to 5 is reversed. They will work until 9pm, then go out and party at an underground club til 5am...and make it back at work by 10.

A hipster with a professional job who seeks to climb the corporate ladder but remains true to indie musical tastes, lives in a hipster neighborhood, and likely has a hipster hairstyle.
Financial analyst Chad, a known yupster, couldn't wait to wear his new Brooks Brothers sportcoat with his vintage "Jake the Snake" t-shirt to the Unicorns show at the Empty Bottle on Friday.
