Urban Dictionary Definition

A user-submitted definition for a word, posted on the site www.urbandictionary.com. The word can be real, and it's definition true. It can also be entirely made up from the word to it's definition. Or, the definition for a real word or person could be falsified. The only regulation on content is approval or disapproval if users, whom vote on which definitions to allow onto the site.

Common content found on the site include "definitions" that serve only to glorify certain people, or defame others. Also, an infamous use of the website is to make up sexual vocabulary ie: Truffle Butter or attach graphically sexual definitions to actual words ie: Queen Victoria.

Guy 1: Did you hear Miles got his Urban Dictionary Definition included on the site?
Guy 2: I've shit things more interesting than that fact.
Guy 1: It's about you thought. It says you're a - - -

Guy 2: Who gives a damn? No one knows.

Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period

The period of time from the point of submission of an Urban Dictionary definition until the point when the submission is either approved for publication or the definition is rejected and not published. The Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period can take from minutes to hours or it can take up to several weeks end. There is no explaination for the time variance nor is there a way to determine what the actual definition gestation period will be.

The gestation period for the birth of a human being is far more predictable and accurate than the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period.

Carlos spends his free time creating Urban Dictionary entries because he has a creative mind and enjoys sharing his world. While he is an Urban Dictionary submission pro, he has yet to figure out why the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period is so unpredictable and takes up to several weeks on end for editorial review.

Urban dictionary definition reviews

a lonely group of fat single men who spend their time picking their noses and eating it, can usually be found trawling through the internet to find the most boring definitions to publish. the reviewer is usually very successful at making urban dictionary more boring than most other dictionaries, such as 'Colin's dictionary' which is a much more exciting and humorous read.

urban dictionary definition fail

When You provide a seemingly perfect definition to a word on urban dictionary and even do some thoughtful editing but it doesn't get published anyways. Usually a sign that you aren't clever enough or your definition is really, really dumb.

Dude: I thought I put the perfect definition for bad comedian on urban dictionary.

Friend: what did you put?

Dude: a person who catches rotten fruit on a stage for laughs. I thought it was clever.

Friend: did it get accepted?

Dude: nope...

Friend: sounds like an urban dictionary definition fail.

Dude: yep, an epic fail for sure.

Friend: maybe we should define that term!

Dude: I hope it gets accepted.

Friend: if it doesn't, we know what it would be called!!
