X-Type 

Based on the Ford Mondeo, this was Jaguar's smallest saloon, created to compete with the 3-Series. It was FWD because neither Jag nor Ford had a suitable RWD platform to build it on.
Available as a saloon or an estate, with FWD or AWD, buyers could be had with a 2.1-, 2.5- or 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol or a 2.0- or 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel, with either five- or six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes, the 5-speed variant of the latter having a "J-Gate"-type gear selection movement.

The model was discontinued in 2009, enjoying an eight year production run.

A Type 7.0 civilization might be composed of entities that exist in the spaces between mathematical truths, or that feed on the potential energy of unrealized possibilities.
