When you have a clever or unique joke or remark that goes over everyone else's heads generally because they're too stupid to know what you're talking about.

Cindy: "I work in a department store. I'm a cashier."

Richard: "Oh, really? My father was a cashier. They threw him out of the army."

Cindy: (stares)

Gene: "Richard's too hip for the room."

When someone acts like they're all that, usually kicking back and not participating in anything that's going on.

An Australian slang word used in place of 'goodbye', 'tooroo' is commonplace in Tasmania amongst the elderly. Variations on 'tooroo' include, 'hooroo', and the shortening 'ooroo'.

'Pop, I'm marrying my sister tomorrow, are you coming to the wedding?'
'Sure am, sonny. In the meantime give her a shag for me, will ya?'
'No worries. See you then, Pop.'
