Small Big Streamer Syndrome

When a streamer views their channel as much bigger than it actually is.

They act like lots of viewers is a given - and not earned by having skills, or an entertaining personality.

The way they stream changes drastically when they have fewer viewers than what they expect.

They tend to act like their viewers aren't worth their time, and show no signs of gratitude, and act very arrogant towards people generally.
Their biggest goal is to climb the ladder, and gain fame by clout-chasing bigger streamers
P1: Hey, this streamer is ranting about not having many viewers, and they won't even thank people for subscribing.

P2: Yeah, dude. He has Small Big Streamer Syndrome ("SBSS" for short) its sad really.

Streamer Syndrome

The deterioration of cell production in the brain directly correlated to one's popularity as a livestreamer; effectively making a person mentally retarded the more followers or subscribers they have.
That XQC guy is hilarious. The way he acts must be because of his Streamer Syndrome.

Streamer Syndrome

When someone talks as if they are the center of attention, especially when in a call with others/playing a game.
Another example of this is if someone is in a call and talking about their game specifically when not streaming it to anyone, thus annoying the fuck out of everyone.
Person 1: Hey everyone how have we been?
Person 3: Shit I fell! geez bro
Person 2: hey guys wanna leave this call this guy has a serious case of streamer syndrome
Person 4, 5, 6, 7: Yeah lets go

Small Big Streamer Syndrome

Small Big Streamer Syndrome (also known as SBSS) is when small streamers, with low view- and followercounts act like their stream is on par with the biggest streamers on the platform.
This comes with lots of attitude and no gratefulness, or them acting humble towards the people who are there supporting, but only chasing a higher viewercount, these streamers also often tend to chase clout like nobody's business.
"This streamer I just started watching has like 4 viewers on Twitch, won't thank followers, donators, or acknowledge anyone in chat"
"I know, its sad. Seems like he is suffering from Small Big Streamer Syndrome"

streamer shock

when an musician receives compensation for his/her work at .00437 per stream. especially distressing for established artists that previously made 100’s of millions of dollars for their albums.
It took me 5 years to write those songs and music and after 1 million people listened to it, the check I got left me with streamer shock.
