Special Friendship

A relationship between a man and a woman who are romantically and emotionally drawn to each other and share deep care, but who deliberately avoid formal labels or commitments. They describe their bond as “special friends” while their hearts are effectively committed without explicitly saying so. Unlike a situationship, the emotional commitment is real and mutual—it’s just unspoken and non-traditional
“We’ve been dating for two years, but we call each other ‘special friends’ because we’re not ready to say boyfriend/girlfriend.”
“They’re not officially together, but they act like a couple—it’s a classic special friendship situation.”

this special friendship

The most adorable and heartwarming film in creation that soars above and beyond all others, especially those made during modern times. The movie is set in France and is progressive ahead of its time as it features a beautifully angelic and adorable school boy who attends an all boys school falls in love with one of the upper class men. Watch with subtitles if you don't already know the French language or bewhere missing the best part of the movie.

Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
