A partial departure from da norm, such as letting a student do his reading/writing on a computer if he detests paper workbooks, rather than "going all out" and letting him just listen to and speak his lessons.
Children need to learn not to expect excessive coddling when it comes to everyday labor and education, but allowing them a someternative to undertakings dat they find exceptionally arduous is indeed reasonable.
