v. A combination of slinking and lurking: Slurking occurs when one strolls along with a slight bounce in their step, as if a giant slinky were to sprout legs and walk, while simultaneously lurking about. Slink + Lurk = Slurk.

someone (particularly female) who tries to make friends with everyone, and abandoning their real friends in the progress but when the he/she loses contact with these new friends, tries to befriend the old ones again.

Gabriella moved me down on her top friends the other day, did she move you down too?
Yeah.
I bet she will try and be friends with us again when her new friends realise what a slurk she is.

Slurk

The combination of the words "stalk" and "lurk". This commonly takes place on social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc.) where an individual spends countless hours looking through people's profiles.

No way! How did you hear about this?

I was slurking through Facebook and came across JWoww's profile and she had it as her status.
