a slang term for psychedelic mushrooms used in younger and hippie circles by those who do not want others such as parents, teachers, or authorities to know they are talking about the drug. the term came from reversing the word fungus after recording onto audio editing software. it is used infrequently in underground hip hop but used frequently by the underground psychedelic scenes throughout the continental USA.
