Kickass demon-killers from Cassandra Clare's series: Infernal Devices and the Mortal Instruments.
These demon-killers protect all mundanes (humans) from evil demons who want to wreck havoc in the world.

Shadowhunters
Shadowhunters are humans who protect and govern the mundanes and downworlders in Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices.
Shadowhunters are humans who are born with the blood of the Angel Raziel. They 'control' the shadow world and those who live in it e.g. downworlders (warlocks, fairies, vampires, werewolves)and demons. Their mandate is to keep the peace in the Shadow World and keep it hidden from the mundane world while protecting the inhabitants of both worlds.
Shadowhunters despite having the blood of the Angel, are mortal and therefore vulnerable to old age and death; however, their angelic blood gives them special abilities (that mundanes do not posses)that allow them to slay demons and have somewhat special powers through runes.

An elite group of fictional warriors (from the City of Bones books)
Trained since childhood to fight and slay the downworlders, demons and faeries that attempt to create havoc on earth.
Shadowhunters are different from humans which they call "mundanes", the Shadowhunters are what you could call an enhanced race of humans
Shadowhunters are physically marked with Runes over their skin, the older or more elite a Shadowhunter, the more Runes they will have
The Runes create different types of effects, some are defensive and some aid strength etc.
these Runes are tattooed onto the Shadowhunter using a Stele (a specially crafted Shadowhunter weapon)

ShadowHunters: The Mortal Instruments (Netflix Series)
a not so bad netflix original where the protagonist makes me want to fucking kill myself because of her shitty acting. its a not so good rendition of the book series with barely decent and an atrOCIOUS ONE (makes me want to use eye bleach).
