Rebound Applying

The act of furiously applying for multiple jobs after receiving a rejection email for a job and investing all angst into something appearingly productive.

Phil: Where's Phil?
Steve: He's been rebound applying since he got one of those automated rejection emails from Chase.
Phil: How bad is it?
Steve: Well... He started his journey at Bank of America and now he's at Taco Bell.
Phil: Shit, thats pretty bad.
