poor door

A separate entrance made for a building that segregates affordable housing from the intended tenants of a housing development. Prevalent in the UK and in the US where the developer(such as Extell) uses a loophole to show a Victorian-era distaste for mixed-income housing.
I'm sorry sir, but your pass only permits you to enter through the poor door down that dark alley.
