Pay now pay later means the person telling you this expects you to give them some of what have now (pay now). If you don't give them some now you will not get any when they have some later and you don't (pay later). Some people start using a variation, pn OR pl, but quickly learn that it is easier to just say pnpl.

Dude 2 says: "I'm fresh out. PNPL.
Dude 1 says: "Here it is."
