To listen to a piece of music too many times (because you
can't help it) with the result of not wanting to listen to it for a while

I love that new album. I've already overlistened it.

Over-listen

Blatant and obviously listening in to a conversation that you're not involved in, but aren't excluded from either. Used when admitting to listening in.

Similar to eavesdropping, but without the sneaky connotation.

I heard you mention the party so I started to over-listen. Do we need to give anyone a ride?

when someone, (guy or girl), puts too much body spray on themselves to the point where it doesnt even smell good anymore
