overcomputing is excessive and inappropriate use of computer technology, like overusing software or apps. Often used to imply insufficient or oversufficient computer literacy, inattention to real life, self-absorption and high self-esteem.
Jeff was overcomputing when he spent last weekend storing his favorite recipes in encrypted binary on his phone.
