When a corporate boondoggle is so egregious and over the top that one firm cannot afford to host the event alone, either due to the actual cost or potential liability, the event must be mutually hosted by multiple firms.
Due to the level of drinking involved at the corporate ski trip, we are going with a mutual hosting plan for this boondoggle.
