missinterest

When you think that you're interested but you really are not interested. Thinking about doing an action at first, then not accomplishing it, due to the lack of interest in it. You are interested at first. But when you look and dive deeper into it. You really don't give a single F. Most likely is due to the lack of knowledge, which means you'll lose any interest in no time. Other possibility is getting involved into one thing and never get to do it, and leave it after a little to no time.
Alex: I am hosting an event in LA, you want to join?
Allen: Oh Yes! Sure! *Doesn't bother to ask*

Alex in the day of the event *Calls Allen*: Where are you bro?
Allen: I think I don't fit into it, to be honest. Sorry.
Alex: You could have just told me that it was a missinterest.

Missinterest

When you miss someone or something, but you don’t want them/it back in your life.
Friend: “I saw your ex at the grocery store; they seem to be with someone new. I’m sorry.”
Me: “That’s ok; I’m missinterested in them at this point. It was fun while it lasted, but we wouldn’t have worked out.”

misinterest

Mistaken Interest.
As a matter of habit and causual etiquette, Kevin said "What's up?" to John in the breakroom, expecting nothing more than a brief, if not exact reply. In a clear case of misinterest, John went on to describe his date with Meg (the hot new secretary), in mindnumbing detail.
