The "new" FYI. FYI is old school. JSYK (Just So You Know) is a more casual, friendly means of giving your friends and colleagues semi-useful information.
JSYK, it wasn't Roy, it was Isaac.

JSYK stands for Just So You Know.
My friend says it all the time because she thinks she's chill when she says it because noone else knows what it stands for. Then we have to just say it all out. It's more fun to just leave the person hanging by not telling them what it means.
Guy: Woo, Look at that girl in those shorts! Mmm.
Girl: JSYK, She's a huge slut. She's got babies daddies all around here right now.

Just So You Know. A newer term then the old and overused FYI. JSYK is a good alternative to BTW, as when you use BTW in a sentence, people might take more offense. Usually placed at the beginning of a sentence and commonly used in texting.
ANNA: BTW, Mom, I ate all the cookies that you made.
MOM: What? I was saving those! What are you going to do next, eat the cake I made for your brother's birthday?

AARON: FYI, I ate all of the cookies you made, Mom.
MOM: Don't talk to your mother so rudely, Aaron! Go to your room!

AMELIA: JSYK, I ate all those cookies you made, Mom.

MOM: Oh, that's okay, Amelia. I can always make more.
