Huldra is a wood nymph, a supernatural female being, who plays a central role in Norwegian folklore. Huldra is a troll of the forest, but still extremely beautiful. She seduces innocent men and brings them into the mountains to make them one of her people.

Huldra can be recognized by her characteristic tale, which she usually hides behind a cute dress.

He never came back from the forest that day; I suppose Huldra took him.
