A term used in Bahamian and Turks and Caicos Islands dialect to describe a new or “fresh” Haitian migrating to the country.

The term also can be used to describe to smell of a “fresh” Haitian.

Bahamian Bei 1: You ain see one new boat touch down last night aye.
Bahamian Bei 2: I know I smell High-Tion in the air bei.

Bahamian Bei 1: Tell me why that gyal try talk to me smelling like hightion.
Bahamian Bei 2: Ion know that’s how they go too shameless.
