Words you can keep

Trance, techno, hard house, hard dance and rave

All very different, but amazing to listen to.

Techno is more rapid and fast, but uses electronics well. laughed at for the 90s hysteria of crap pop music.
DO NOT GET IT MIXED UP WITH POP.

Trance is more musical and slower, which makes it very classical.

hard house is probably the greatest of them all, with fast tempo, great sounds and amazing climaxes.

Hard Dance is so much faster than all of the above, making it harder for beginners to the genre.

Rave, the dying genre, can range from slow, relaxing music to fast bumping sounds. some would say it relies too much on repitition.

Its best to start from this order to really enjoy the music, otherwise youll think youve wasted a good 15 quid on a CD, while hardcore fans will relish such a CD.

You dont have to take drugs, you dont have to be a hard-nut, you dont have to go about wearing massive trousers, you just want to listen to the music, and have a good time.
Its music, thats all. And why do people slag fans of these genres for listening to it? Are they really that shallow?

Enjoy. All people welcome.

Hard Problem of Technology

The Control Dilemma: The more powerful and complex a technology becomes, the more it requires other complex technologies to control it, creating an infinite regress of dependency and unintended consequences. We invent nuclear fission, then need control rods, containment vessels, and international surveillance to manage it. We create the internet, then need firewalls, algorithms, and cybersecurity to curb its harms. The hard problem is that technological solutions inevitably beget new, often more wicked, technological problems. True mastery recedes like a horizon; we are perpetually patching the leaks in a dam we chose to build.
Example: Social media algorithms (a technology) were created to increase engagement. They succeeded, but unleashed misinformation and mental health crises. The proposed fix? Better AI moderation algorithms (more complex technology). This new AI will itself have unintended side-effects, requiring yet another layer of oversight tech. The hard problem: We are on a treadmill, using technology to solve the problems caused by prior technology, accelerating into a future where our society is a fragile house of cards built entirely on layers of opaque, interdependent systems we no longer fully understand or control. The tool begins to dictate the tasks. Hard Problem of Technology.

Purple Patch

To describe coming into something good, coming into good luck and or good times.

Like walking over small green hills in the countryside then coming across a purple patch of flowers, thus it being unique and out of the ordinary.
I hit a real purple patch.

The other day this good thing happened unexpectedly then I was lucky with this, it was unique, I hit a real purple patch.
