halfpinion

Coined by Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame), a halfpinion is an opinion formed by someone who has been exposed to only half of an argument. For example: "raising taxes is good because we get more services" (while failing to consider the costs to taxpayers).
Someone who listens only to Fox News or MSNBC will be filled with embarrassing halfpinions.
