Originally refers to a motor vehicle "rolling" upon taking a corner too fast or driving off the road.

Used by higher-ups in a company to sound like a threat to a persons employment. Anyone who actually uses this phrase is insecure with their amount of power and actually incapable of firing anyone.
Those TPS reports still aren't done. Heads are going to roll at the 2pm meeting.
