Gettin' Fancy

hanging out with someone more often and in more places, because you like them. Came from the idea that courting women back then was "fancy".

Tony: Hey, Rebecca, where have you been lately?
Rebecca: I've been hanging out with Robert more.
Tony: Gettin' fancy?
Rebecca: I guess.
