1. One of a large number of new users recruited to internet discussions to influence the discussion, or change the tone of the discussion as it relates to the subject.

2. A horde of meatpuppets.

To enlist massive quantities of intellectual cannon-fodder for the purpose of overwhelming a discussion by numerical mass, to turn its tone to that intended by the foddercruiters.
The Mormon organization FAIR has sent an email calling for a massive fodderpuppet response to four specific articles in the Washington Post which are seen as unfavorable to Mormonism.
