A term for methusalem-aged
stiff, white-haired toothless and nearly blind
dogs, mainly German Shepards and German Dachshounds, always expressed in 3rd person (he instead of you) with a warm friendly voice of rapture patting the dogs head with emphasis when their Feiner successfully
shat, brought a stick, tore a blanket or bit someone.
It's pronounced as 'finer'.
The opposite of a Feiner is a "Pfuihund" (filthy dog).
The target of a Feiner, eg. food, a pillow or
pants is called a "Feini" (fine thing, pronounced: finy).
So
ein Feiner ist er, ja, er ist so ein Feiner (Such a
fine one he is, yes, he is such a
fine one)
