Deniers are phsychologically flawed individuals who actively deny the mainstream scientific viewpoint that the earth is warming due to the release of CO2 by the burning of fossil fuels. While 97% of climate scientists are in agreement and the evidence collected by use of the scientific method is indisputable, these people deny the reality through
confirmation bias reinforced by well funded oil company propaganda and disinformation. Social dominance orientation, system justification, and identity protective cognition define the denier. These are character traits that reinforce white male hegemony over the environment and reinforce social hierarchies, and are common in a strict father worldview where the children never learn to think for themselves. The pedagogy of the strict father is belief over facts, with a powerful “head” of the family, much like in a dictatorship where there is only one leader in charge. Denialism is also closely linked to hate groups, Golf, Nascar, country music, religious zealots, and much of middle America who have been brainwashed by AM radio, essentially using our public airwaves for free, to protect the profits of companies whose pollution could potentially end most of humankind. And the pope agrees.

A Covid-19 denier/ Covid-19 dimwit is someone that illogically does/did one or more of the following:
1. Didn’t change their lifestyle in any way after learning about Covid, and still leaves the house at least once a day for non work related activities (including parties, vacations, social gatherings in public, etc.)
2. Believes Covid-19 is a hoax and therefore does nothing to stop the spread, likely killing people along the way.
3. Believes that putting a piece of cloth over their face is the government “trying to control” their breathing (whatever that means).
In summary:
These are people who don’t value any human life besides their own.
Some characteristics that can help you spot a Covid denier/ Covid dimwit are as follows:
Stands directly next to people in public, wears no mask, probably killed your grandma or immunocompromised sibling, is spotted in large groups of people- all without masks, make people who are actually quarantining want to shit down their throat. Basically they do everything that the people who are staying home and actually trying to stop the virus wish they could do. All while very likely killing multiple people and somehow not giving a single shit.

A person that denies hoaxes, fake science based news, science fiction (even by the best writers who won the Pulitzer Prize), science fiction reported by commentators on Fox News, or Russian Scientists (especially during US elections).
Some people don't believe the War of the Worlds even happened. The science fiction deniers don't even believe it happened after reading the book or watching the movies, or when peer reviewed on the internet.
