Carprimeter 

The perimeter edge of the carpet that you absolutely cannot vacuum without changing the vacuum attachment.

An area of such constant filth collection that it is often a slightly different colour than the rest of the carpet and always contains dirt, picture nails, dry wall dust and pet hair... regardless of whether you have potted plants, hang pictures, have drywall or keep pets.
